I am an attorney specializing in disability law and also a Board-Certified surgeon (transplant surgery) still licensed to practice medicine.
As my curriculum vitae indicates, I am a surgeon with almost thirty years of medical experience. I was Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery and Attending Surgeon in Transplantation at SUNY at Stony Brook.
I served as President of the New York Transplantation Society and as Assistant Editor of Transplantation Proceedings.
I am also most proud of being a combat veteran. In 1973, I served in the Israeli Seventh Brigade (armored) during the Yom Kippur war.
Julie received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Texas in Killeen, Texas. She received a Master’s of Education from Texas A&M Commerce. After teaching high school for several years, Julie decided to pursue her interest in law and obtained her Juris Doctorate from Texas A&M School of Law. She also obtained Legum Magister (LLM) in Taxation from the University of Alabama.
After practicing law for several years, Julie became increasingly aware of the challenges faced by veterans in the legal process and the need for attorneys who could help. Julie founded GloverLuck with partner Adam Luck to address those issues and provide a much needed service to our nation’s veterans. She represents veterans in all phases of the disability benefit process, in tort claims against the VA, and in estate and probate matters. She has been accredited by the VA to represent veterans in front of the agency.
This is a long form text area designed for your content that you can fill up with as many words as your heart desires. You can write articles, long mission statements, company policies, executive profiles, company awards/distinctions, office locations, shareholder reports, whitepapers, media mentions and other pieces of content that don’t fit into a shorter, more succinct space. Articles – Good topics for articles include anything related to your company – recent changes to operations, the latest company softball game – or the industry you’re in. General business trends (think national and even international) are great article fodder, too. Mission statements – You can tell a lot about a company by its mission statement. Don’t have one? Now might be a good time to create one and post it here. A good mission statement tells you what drives a company to do what it does. Company policies – Are there company policies that are particularly important to your business? Perhaps your unlimited paternity/maternity leave policy has endeared you to employees across the company. This is a good place to talk about that. Executive profiles – A company is only as strong as its executive leadership. This is a good place to show off who’s occupying the corner offices. Write a nice bio about each executive that includes what they do, how long they’ve been at it, and what got them to where they are.
Adam attended Kansas State University where he earned his Bachelor degree in finance and business administration. Upon graduation, Adam went to work for USAA serving active military members, veterans, and their families. He provided financial services and advice as a licensed financial advisor, Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor©, and Accredited Asset Management Specialist©.
While working with both active military and veterans at USAA, Adam recognized that many service members and veterans had a myriad of legal needs that were not being satisfied. Adam decided the best way to give back to those who gave up so much for our country was to get his law degree and to serve our nation’s veterans.
